CocoCay you took our Indepedence…

Royal Caribbean have decided to pull the Independence out of Southampton from April 2020 all throughout the summer period. What are your thoughts on this?

Most of the private Islands are located in the Bahamas, can just imagine it now soaking up the sun with crystal clear waters, white beaches, maybe participate in some water sports, of course sipping a cocktail with beach side service relaxing on a hammock nestled among palm trees.

These private islands have their own bars, restaurants, restrooms, shopping, water sports and tour huts. The day before the ship arrives the island crew prepare the island by making sure the beach is raked, and beach chairs and umbrellas are in position. Cruise Lines will provide towels for the day so no need to pack your own.

There is plenty for all age groups, so if you want a relaxing day or want to participate in sports there is something to suit you all.

All cruise lines include on beach dining so you do not have to go back to the ship for lunch. You can enjoy

Barbecue Chicken and Ribs
Hamburgers and Hot Dogs
Steaks and Grilled Chicken
Beans, Corn and Slaw
Pastas, Potatoes and Hot Vegetables
Salads
Fresh Fruit
Desserts
Coffee, tea, punch, juice and non-bottled water

This is all included in your cruise fare, the only thing you have to pay for is bottled water, sodas, beers and tropical drinks all of which you can put on your shipboard account.
