Benefits of booking on board…

It seems more and more people are booking their next cruise whilst on board their cruise. It surpises me how many people book early, I think its a great idea to have something booked before the end of your holiday as you then have something else to look forward to. It maybe saves you have the holiday blues too!

I also find that people are not aware you can book onboard and worry the booking cannot be handled by oursleves. This is not the case as once the booking has been made we are notified by the cruise company pretty much straight away. Just before you go on your cruise I always call my clients and wish then a bon voyage and then tell them to look out for deals that they may be tempted to book. Not only will you benefit from your on board discount we will then offer you a further discount.

So what are the benefits?
P&O and Cunard – offer additional on board credit and a lower deposit for booking on board, with these companies you have to know the exact sailing that you’d like and you are then bound by their standard terms and conditions.
Celebrity & Royal Caribbean go a step further by allowing you to book a cruise and then transfer it later to another sailing free of charge. This gives you the on board booking benefits without having actual plans in place.
NCL are similar in that you can make a deposit payment on board that can just be applied to a future booking and ensure the on board booking benefits then.
