Is there a perfect cruise for everyone?

This is a recurring topic.

Only this last week, I had very lengthy discussions with a couple who had never cruised. All their friends cruise but this elderly couple still have not. One of them wanted to, the other did not. Will they ever cruise? My conclusion…    sorry to say this. No they probably will not. I will not go into detail as to their case but, suffice to say…    if you don’t really want impartial advice and guidance, then don’t approach a specialist in a field if you know better.

So, thinking of a cruise, whether it be your first one ever, or your umpteenth cruise, you really need to speak to someone you trust. If it’s your friend, great.

Food glorious food and plenty of it. Tantalize your taste buds with gourmet cuisine that showcases exotic ingredients, but also enjoy favourites like pizza and pasta or healthy alternatives. Depending on your mood, dine in a traditional ballroom setting, a small bistro or your own suite.

Endless things to do. Fill your days with sightseeing, sports activities, cultural and where to shop and what to do talks, educational tours led by naturalists and historians or simply lounge by the pool and relax. At night, enjoy disco, cabaret, musical revues, casinos or a quiet evening gazing at your partner under the stars.

You want to see the world? Then this is the way to do it. Fall asleep in one destination and awake somewhere else… and you only have to pack and unpack once!
