Where Our Magic Began!

It is no secret……………… I love Disney !

Way back in 2015 as newly weds with a little tiny toddling daughter about 2 year old, my husband and I took our first trip to Orlando Florida for our honeymoon, and there began our Magical obsession with all that is Walt Disney!!!!!!

Since then we have returned every 3-4 years each time with our growing family and each time falling in love with Walt Disney World a little bit more.

Our friends always ask us “Don’t you get bored doing the same holiday?” and my answer is always…… Its never the same holiday twice!

There is so much (too much)  I love about Disney, that’s make it more than a holiday.

  1. Attractions – With 4 theme parks and 2  water parks everyone is looked after! There is something magical about arriving Main Street USA on your first morning walking toward Cinderella’s castle, with the smell  popcorn and feel of exciting filling the air. Nothing beats it.

2.  Shows- I love that in Walt Disney its not just about the rides, having travelled with children of all ages, shows around the theme parks filled my time when waiting for my family on bigger rides. Whether you are watching the Parade on Main street, your favourite film played out on stage, world class firework display or a simple street actor talking to his pet Dinosaur you will never be bored in WDW.

3. Food- Well food is going to need its very own Blog as such a huge part of this type of your holiday in Florida , from Snacks such as Ice cream Sundaes at the Plaza, Hotdogs at Casey’s or just Breakfast with Mickey mouse there really is “food for thought” when deciding what to eat in Walt Disney, and research is key to planning  where to eat!!!!

4. Nostalgia- We love how over the years we have watched the parks change and our children grow with the experiences available. This is why it is never the same holiday twice as the older my kids get the experiences available to them change. We have been through everything from Pretty Princess’s to Thrill seeks paradise.

5. Hotels and Resorts- On site resorts really do enhance the over all experience that I call the “DISNEY BUBBLE” the service in and around Disney never disappoints. I love the different themed hotels which allow for all budgets and taste. Added Benefits of staying onsite for example free transport around the parks, shopping delivered to your room, Room charging from inside the parks……………. the perks are endless.

Over the next few months (as my excitement builds for my trip in August) I will go into more detail on how you can make the very most of your trip to WDW with Tips on how to plan the perfect trip, where to eat and also beyond the Magic.

Until Next time

Marie (Mrs Disney)
