Stay-cation , get me on a ship

Well what can I say about Great Yarmouth , actually Scratby, apart from having the most glorious weather, busy, expensive ?

These two beauts enjoyed it, very geared up for children, and everything is a pound !!

We spent a lovely day on the beach , about the cheapest, for the rest , take lots of money !!

This time next year we will be on the fabulous new MSC ship, Seaview, and while it may be costing a little more , what a difference it will make. Jayden is 9 and Mason 2 so finding things that would suit both of them was quite challenging, and of course being the baby he wanted to follow big brother everywhere, they are going to have so much fun next year, and its all included !!

We stayed in a Hoseasons park near Scratby, enough said, cleanwould be the nicest thing I can say , the soft play area for the little one was miles away , very badly designed, no outside seating areas at all , so even if the weather was good you needed to get off site to have any outside time. I thought they were missing a big trick with this one, if they had a picnic area, they could have sold ice creams and cold drinks by the bucket load.

All in all we had a nice time, my grandson mow beats me at UNO , a tad embarrassing, not sure I will do it again , the journey home was horrendous, seven hours from Yarmouth to drop Mum off in Barnsley , then another 2 hours to drop the boys in Manchester, we stayed over again as another two hour drive to Coventry was not happening !!

We really could have flown to Dubai in the same time !!

So roll on 2018, get us on that ship , now looking forward to the Silhouette in 20 days time!
