Road trip to Torquay!!

Well, just a little break coming up with not a cruise in sight !! Doing my first ever Shearings holiday, to Torquay. And no, we are not staying at the Fawlty Towers hotel!

We have a quiz team and one of our members will be turning 70 next week, so we are three couples off on a little jaunt, I am going once again with my colleague, Babs, we have done many cruises together and always share at conference, so this is going to be a first for us.

I have travelled so little in the Uk its actually shocking, I have been looking at the Princess cruises for next year, and sorely tempted to do one of the British Isles ones, can you believe I have never even been to Scotland, how bad is that. some of the itineraries look pretty good, but as always, its the weather??? I so look forward to a bit of sunshine when on holiday, I would be gutted if it rained for 10 days.

I really do not know what to expect next week, I have not googled or checked trip advisor(very unlike me) we have decided its just go with the flow and see what happens, we are in good company and apparently very close to an excellent pub, so it seems we are well sorted.
