Ready for Queen Victoria!

Well, I have been given a little week away on the lovely Cunard Queen Victoria, leaving tomorrow from Southampton for 7 nights, what a treat, our FAM trips are usually just a few nights, 2/3 even up to 5, so to get a whole week is definitely a rare opportunity.

We are off to Guernsey , Amsterdam (and this is from Rotterdam, not done before) Bruges and Cherborg

There have been lots of moans and groans recently from customers where the port has been changed for Amsterdam, I will now be able to see first hand how much more difficult it is.

We are having an outing in Bruges, I have been before, but I have not done the canal cruise, so that’s something new to look forward to.

Dressing every night for dinner, also different, as we are going in a group this will most likely be every night in the main dining room, thank goodness its Southampton and no flights, my suitcase could not take the strain!!

We have also been lucky enough to get a Balcony cabin on deck five, I would love to get into one of the Princess or Queen Grille Cabins, we had a glimpse of one year’s ago on QM, but it was being occupied by someone, so it was a quick peak!!

Hopefully, the weather will be kind,  I will have lots of photos for you, we cannot use our social media at the moment, so no facebook posts I am afraid.

I am back on 30th, also being very civilized this time and getting the coach with cruise connect return, another first,
