Msc Seaview in my opinion, part one!

Well due to some technical difficulties my photographs are still to be loaded on!! And anyone who knows me will understand that this may not be a fast process to fix, technology is not always my friend.

I can tell you how beautiful this new ship is, and hopefully, in my next blog, I will have the pictures to show you.

Check in at Barcelona went smoothly considering the size and number of passengers, over 5000, we were on and in the bar by 2pm, I will advise anyone to pre-book the drinks package, we paid £ 168 for the week and on board, they charge tax too, so €207 for the week per person, a fair saving.

Still one of the best drinks packages at sea, they did not need to see both cards to get a drink, which was great, my husband always forgot to give mine back on Celebrity, as sometimes we got split up this used to be a bit annoying, I might go back to the cabin for an afternoon snooze, then discover no card key !! This was much easier.

The staff were very good, friendly and helpful, our evening waiter was very nice and looked after the children very well, the meals always out first and this helps when you have a three year old in tow.

So the waterpark, WOW, huge and more than big enough for the children, they had a great time, the little one just under the height limit, so a little disappointing for him, but safety comes first. Our eldest grandson made friends on day two and basically could not be found after that!! We had to go looking for him every time.

There are kids clubs, though we did not use them for the little ones much, the teenager in our group certainly enjoyed himself, this was his first cruise @ 15 and you could tell he was a little unsure before boarding. He got home every night after the adults.

I will tell you more but I would like my pictures to go with the stories so watch this space
