Flying the Flag!

It was with great interest I read about the recent news from British Airways not transporting our National team to Brazil ? How on earth can this happen ? After the enormous success we achieved as a nation in 2012 during the Olympics, the amount of pride it gave back to people often associated badly in the press in some sports with violence. London (and the whole Olympic committee) managed to pull it off, sure there were a few gripes from locals, understandable, but in the major scheme of things everyone pulled together and welcomed the world.

I was lucky enough to be in London for the three weeks of the games, stood proudly as the houses of parliament were light up gold whenever one of our athletes won.

So, come on British Airways, can you see Lufthansa saying no to the German national team ? Here is the finest hand picked players of the land, proudly wearing their Red, White & Blue……………..Let’s Fly the Flag, and live up to your adverts !!!
