On the Edge Part 2

I will be on the Celebrity Edge by the time you read this and I am getting very excited indeed. My children were watching videos about the ship and they are very much excited to go. I wanted to write about the ship a few details and to point why this ship is different from the rest and even within the Celebrity fleet. One of the biggest highlights is the Magic Carpet,  The size of a tennis court, and reaching heights of 13 storeys above sea level, it is the world’s first cantilevered, floating platform.situated on the starboard side of the Celebrity Edge , it is designed with comfortable seating, a full bar, and space for live music performances – so it truly is a destination itself. This spectacular space opens to several decks and transforms into a new and exciting venue depending on where it’s positioned. I can’t wait to see it! The second unique point is the Infinity balcony, as we had with Royal Caribbean the virtual balcony this is the real thing and nothing virtual about it. It allows you to open the balcony door and extend the cabin into the balcony and to have that extra space and still open the glass by pressing a button and have the feel of the outside, this is great!
