Off on Oasis Of The Seas

Soon I’m off on Oasis of The Seas from Barcelona and I can’t wait, as I have not been on her before or that class of ship in general. Its not a new ship anymore, but I remember when she first launched nearly 10 years ago she was the world’s biggest ship carrying over 6000 passengers! she’s still absolutely huge even now with lots on offer. Its 18 decks offer room for more than 5,000 passengers and enough dining and entertainment venues — spread among seven “neighborhoods” — to keep them all busy. From a zip line, rock climbing walls and surf simulators to a carousel and real, live trees and shrubs. I am not sure I will have enough time to see all the ship and it’s fantastic facilities on board. There are 20 dining options on the Oasis of the Seas and I’m afraid I won’t be able to do all of them, I have booked a couple of speciality restaurants already and the rest will see. The Oasis offers a wide variety of fun activities depending on what you are into, including: a zip line, casino, mini-golf course, 5 swimming pools, volleyball and basketball courts, a carousel, 2 flowriders (surf simulators),  karaoke club, comedy club, 3D theater, ice-skating rink (with an ice show), AquaTheater, 2 rock-climbing walls and more. The itinerary it’self I have done many times so this time it’s more about the ship for me. I have also booked shows in advance as I know they will get busy and I may not be able to get in so that’s fine, however this time as I have done all ports before, I have not booked any excursions and going to play it by ear and do my own stuff when getting on shore. I ma really looking forward at last to be on the Oasis Of The Seas, can’t beleive I have not had a chance to be on her before!
