Highlights

  • Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Its history tracing back to approximately 3000 B.C, Abu Dhabi has held closer to its Arabic roots than Dubai. It still has its fair share of modern marvels, from skyscraper observation decks to water parks, but the city’s soul is still elegantly grounded in tradition, as it proudly boasts beautiful mosques and palaces.

  • Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Known as the Hong Kong of Arabia, Dubai’s modern duty-free shopping malls and traditional souks offer some of the best bargains in the world on such luxury items as gold jewellery and designer creations. For a more historic outing, visitors can explore the museum at Al Fahidi Fort or venture out into the Old Quarter of Bastakia.

  • Hawa Mahal

    Jaipur City Tour

Drive into old Jaipur stopping by the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, a good example of Rajput artistry made of red and pink sand stone, beautifully outlined with white borders and motifs painted with quick lime. Your next highlight is the open air royal observatory “Jantar Mantar”. Opposite the Observatory is the City Palace and Museum with its fine collection of textiles.  The City Palace occupies the center of Jaipur and the Royal family occupies a portion of this Palace, with other areas converted to museums

  • Muscat, Oman

Directly translating as “safe anchorage”, Muscat certainly lives up to its name: its spotless streets and strictly organised dome-topped buildings clearly depict the city’s peaceful nature. That’s not to say Muscat is a dull affair, quite the contrary, the recently opened Royal Opera House has been drawing people from all over the world due to its exhilarating live performances.

  • Taj Mahal

    Taj Mahal Evening Tour

In the late afternoon, depart to see the Taj Mahal, experiencing its changing hue at sunset.  The Taj Mahal, with its incredible lacy white grandeur, perhaps the most perfect architectural monument in the world. To the poet Tagore it was a `tear on the face of eternity’.  In memory of his wife, the great Mughal emperor Shah Jehan planned this most extravagant and incomparable monument built for love.  Amazingly graceful from any angle, it is the close up detail, which is really astounding. At sunset, the monument appears to change its hue, tinted by the glow of the setting sun.
