    Vancouver, Canada

Disembark your ship and receive a private transfer to the airport for your overnight flight to the UK.

  • 12 May 19

    Arrive in the UK.

  • Los Angeles

LA’s influence on modern pop-culture cannot be overstated: she has given us Quentin Tarantino, Jim Morrison, Serena Williams, and endless other famous faces, whilst also spawning gangster rap and skateboarding. In the midst of exploring its malls and celebrity hotspots, make sure to spare some time for its palm-tree coated beaches and deep blue waves.

  • San Diego, California

Referring to itself as ‘America’s Finest City’, San Diego imbues such an admirable confidence that you might actually find yourself believing it. From the simple fun of its Legoland to the culturally grounded Balboa Park (home to theatres, museums and gorgeous scenery), San Diego is a city to take note of.

  • Golden gate

    San Francisco

San Francisco is the cultural capital of Northern California, known for its famous skyscraper cityscape, the iconic Golden Gate Bridge spanning three miles from San Francisco to the Marin County headlands across the Pacific Ocean. There’s so much to do, hop in a cable car and explore the glorious city, your exploring may lead you to the Exploratorium: a magnificent museum incorporating science with art. Head down to San Francisco Bay, take a tour just offshore out to Alcatraz Island, and explore the abandoned prison once holding some of America’s most notorious criminals, from Al Capone to Julius and Ethel Rosenberg.

  • Seattle, Washington, USA

The city that inspired the likes of Kurt Cobain, Macklemore and Jimi Hendrix, Seattle is whacky in all of the right ways. Its music scene is legendary, its architecture is refreshingly outside of the box and its infectious atmosphere will make you feel like part of the local crowd. Highlights include spectacle views atop the Space Needle, Microsoft’s EMP pop culture Museum and canoe trips through the arboretum.

  • Vancouver, Canada

Home to North America’s best Asian dining scene and the culinary capital of Canada, Vancouver’s cosmopolitan streets are filled with restaurants and drink holes to please every appetite. With an emphasis on grassroots art, those with a passion for finding hidden gems will have their work cut out in attempting to see all that Vancouver has to offer.

  • Yosemite National Park

    Yosemite National Park

Getting an early start, we cross the Bay Bridge at sunrise. A refreshment stop will be made once we have reached the Central Valley, the most productive agricultural valley in North America. Yosemite's glacier-carved grandeur awaits us in the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the east. Our stay will include both a guided tour of its majesty, as well as time on your own for hiking, shopping and dining at Yosemite Village. The return trip to San Francisco affords time to reflect, as we follow the sun west to its setting over the Pacific Ocean.

What to do when your flight ge...

By Adrian Partridge

I was a holiday rep for around 10 years and before that I worked in the alps as a ski host. Then I went to work at sea on cruise ships. When it comes to disruption, I can never say I have seen it all, but I have seen a lot and had my fare share of bad days created by flights being changed. So where to start…NOBODY PANIC! What is the worst that can happen? Death, I guess! and so far nobody has died with a delay. Travellers can end up totally freaking out at things they have absolutely no...

What To Expect From A Virgin Voyage

By Collette Apak

Collette Apak's blog

After much anticipation Virgin Voyages have finally gone on sale with their first ship, Scarlet Lady.It has to be said that the Virgin brand is pretty hip & cool and they’ve certainly gone down this route when designing their ships and shaping what’s offered on board. There are a few quirky things that make them very different to traditional cruise lines. I mean…I can’t see P&O adding a tattoo parlour to their list of facilities any time soon.Firstly they don&...
