    Kings Wharf, Bermuda

Located at the West End of Bermuda on Ireland Island in Dockyard Parish, the port was built for the British Navy as a base between Halifax and the West Indies. The Georgian-style fort later served as a North Atlantic base during both World Wars. Finally abandoned in 1951, its reincarnation gives visitors plenty to do and see, what with the National Museum of Bermuda, the Arts Centre and the Bermuda Craft Market. The parish's isolation is part of its charm, and it translates to romance and privacy with significant others.

Celebrity Silhouette

Celebrity Silhouette

Celebrity Silhouette is one of Celebrity's more decorated ships at sea and and part of one of Celebrity's most popular Classes. So it's no wonder that it's full of "firsts." Like the first Lawn Club at sea. The first Hot Glass Show. The first cruise line to have 5 women, also known as "the Leading Ladies" redesign, and redecorate the staterooms. Some other things that set the Celebrity Silhouette cruise ship apart are its specialty restaurants. Celebrity's passion for outstanding cuisine has taken the restaurants, the food and the overall dining experience to a whole new level in the cruising world.

Yes, we do still get asked this!!

By Alison Ranaldi
