Symphony of the seas before it’s maiden voyage.

The brand new Symphony of the seas is almost upon us and the maiden voyage only a few days away. I’m lucky enough to be given the opportunity to go visit this new ship on Thursday and have two nights on board before her maiden voyage.

This I can’t wait for as the ship is brand new and there’s nothing better being on a brand new ship rather than an older ship which you just know needs a refurbishment.  I’ve seen some older ships that look tired and dated so this is going to be very fresh.

It may only be two nights but I’m going to enjoy every minute of it. I’ll certainly be happy snappy with my camera.

The Symphony of the seas is part of the Oasis Class along with it’s three sister ships The Harmony, Oasis and the Allure of the seas. I am expecting this to be very similar to The Harmony of the seas which only came into service in May 2016

The Symphony is going to hold some 6680 passengers with 2200 crew members.

Th Symphony of the seas will be starting her maiden voyage come 7th April and will be based in Barcelona doing the Mediterranean until the end of October before she res- positions back to Miami and will then be sailing from Miami covering the Caribbean.

This will be a great honour to be on board and I’m really excited about it. I will be taking lots of photos and perhaps the odd Facebook live videos too. Do check back here for my photos and reviews of Royal Caribbean’s latest brand new ship The Symphony of the Seas.
