Ship Amenities

An interior atrium serves as the social hub and heart of the ship, lining three decks with public rooms, lounges, eateries and shops. You can’t miss it, as the entrance features black granite archways to suit the gateway theme. Inside you’ll find a perfume boutique, library, casino, and passenger service desks. There are also plenty of bars to choose from, like the outdoor terrace at The Beach House and the sleek interior of the Exchange warehouse-themed bar. Outdoors, Ventura offers three pools including one covered by a glass-roofed dome to enable swimming in all weather conditions. Head to the Retreat for a little adults-only time, where you’ll find private cabanas and waiter service.

Cabin Amenities

Accommodation onboard Ventura includes a range of hotel-quality features, like Slumberland, sprung mattresses, fluffy duvets and Egyptian cotton towels and linens. You can choose from a range of price grades classified by size and location, ranging from suites with a balcony to interior cabins. Solo-occupancy cabins are also available, added during the most recent upgrade in 2013. All accommodation includes amenities like personal toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and flat-screen televisions.

Dining Options

You’ll be able to choose from a blend of main dining options, speciality restaurants and casual eateries onboard Ventura. The main dining rooms, Bay Tree, Cinnamon, and Saffron, all offer a la carte menus and an elegant setting. Bay Tree offers dining at fixed time and table, while the other two offer a more flexible ‘Freedom Dining’ option. For something different, you can visit the Epicurian restaurant featuring modern European cuisine from celebrity chef Marco Pierre White. The Waterside is another option, offering both indoor and outdoor seating and a buffet with a variety of international stations. Fans of Italian cuisine can enjoy the options at Frankie’s Pizzeria and Grill, while the Beach House is open 24 hours a day for casual family-friendly fare. When you’re craving Indian fusion cuisine, visit East, or enjoy a casual coffee while watching the world go by at Tazzine.

After dinner, Ventura heats up with a wide variety of entertainment options. Whether you’re in the mood for a quiet drink with newfound friends or a night twirling around the dance floor, you’re sure to find something to suit your mood. The Arena Theatre is the main hub for theatrical entertainment, dancing, and musical acts. Havana is another top venue, showing moves and hosting activities by day before transforming into a sizzling Latin nightclub in the evenings. You can also sip cocktails while enjoying real-time digital views of many of the world’s capital city skylines in the Metropolitan Club lounge.

Sports and Wellness

Keep up with your fitness routine with the state-of-the-art equipment available in the ship’s gym and aerobics room. When you’re ready to cool down, the Oasis Spa offers indulgent beauty and wellness treatments. It also hosts separate men’s and women’s steam room and sauna facilities, along with a beauty salon and Thermal Suite. Operated by Harding Brothers, the spa’s facilities are comprehensive to help you unwind in style.

An Exciting Trip In The Sun

Sailing out into the wide blue yonder was exciting in itself. The cabin (inside) was comfortable, we booked for table service for dinner and enjoyed the company of some very nice people.

As soon as you went on board everyone was so helpful and polite and the decor of the ship was very beautiful. The food was lovely and the select dining was outstanding.
