Ship Amenities

While children and teens have plenty of play areas and their own swimming zone, grownups also benefit from time spent onboard Ruby Princess with the adults-only Sanctuary on offer. It’s positioned on the ship’s highest deck, giving way to panoramic ocean views with its premium services like couples’ massages. All ages can enjoy the promenade deck, which wraps its way around the ship with plenty of cushioned seating inviting you to stop and admire the view. Indoors, the Plaza serves as a virtual town square for the ship, lined with eateries like the wine and cheese bar Vines and the International Café patisserie and coffee shop. Designer shops, a library, and a host of bars and lounges are tucked away here so you’ll always find somewhere to sit and socialise. This includes the Wheelhouse Bar, a Princess Cruises signature with it's wood panelling, or stylish piano bar Crooners. For the best views, visit Skywalkers at the top of the ship which transforms into a disco in the evenings. Gatsby’s Casino provides a glittering Vegas-styled experience, while outdoors passengers can relax by the swimming pools or get cosy with a blanket for a Movies Under the Stars outdoor cinema experience.

Cabin Amenities

Accommodation is chic and comfortable onboard Ruby Princess, with six main types of cabins and suites to choose from. There are family suites with interconnecting doors, as well as cabins with either outside views or balconies. At the most basic level of accommodation are the interior cabins, which come equipped with a high standard of features including a small refrigerator, flat screen television, toiletry kit, and storage space. Suite occupants can enjoy additional features like a lounge with working fireplace, walk-in closets, private balcony and hot tub.

Dining Options

Dining is one of the star attractions onboard Ruby Princess, starting with its three primary dining rooms called Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Da Vinci. These offer an elegant sit-down dinner service, featuring classic cruise fare and fine linens. Princess Cruises offers a broad range of speciality dining options, and Ruby Princess is no exception with its Italian Sabatini’s restaurant and the Crown Grill steakhouse. Both require reservations, being quite popular with guests! It wouldn’t be a big cruise without a buffet, so the Horizon Court is on hand to deliver with a range of international self-serve cooking stations and a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Do you fancy a romantic meal for two? Try the Ultimate Balcony Dinner or Breakfast for deluxe dishes served to you on your own balcony.

Ruby Princess pulls out all the stops when it comes to lavish, colourful song and dance productions. Visit the Princess Theatre to enjoy some of the best of what the talented staff has to offer, including a resident troupe of performers supported by plenty of special effects. The ship’s bars and lounges also provide a welcoming ambience in the evenings, many of them offering live music from jazz piano to string quartets.

Sports and Wellness

Work up a sweat in the ship’s spacious gym, outfitted with sleek and modern cardio equipment and weight lifting machines alike. These are set up to give you the benefit of an inspiring ocean view as you work your muscles! When it’s time to cool down, treat yourself with a visit to the Lotus Spa, located on the Sun Deck. It offers your choice of massage treatments, steam rooms, and a sauna to sweat out all the stresses of the day.

First Cruise With Princess.

Bailey, Llandudno, 14th Oct 2018

Overall we had the best time ever, this was my 15th cruise so I would recommend Princess cruises anytime. I think Alaska is a must and I would certainly do it again but it would have to be Princess.

Princess Cruises, Always The Best.

Philip, Brentford, 17th Feb 2015

The ship is in fine condition, spick and spam throughout as all Princess ships are. We had an inside cabin and found the design and size to be as good as one would wish for.
