ABOUT REGAL PRINCESS

Ship Amenities

Regal Princess takes everything that worked well on the Grand class of ships and has stretched them out to make them bigger and better. There’s a walk-around promenade to take a stroll and enjoy the fresh air, as well as the unique SeaWalk feature with its glass bottom showcasing the water lying beneath. This extends nearly 10 metres beyond the ship’s edge, forming part of a lounge venue. Look down and you’ll admire dramatic views as you walk on the water. Inside, the ship’s Piazza Atrium is its social hub. It offers a range of speciality eateries, entertainment venues, designer shops and plenty of mood lighting. There’s a dance floor that springs to life in the evenings, as well as a ground-floor coffee shop called the International Café. Additional features include abundant swimming pools with plenty of room for lounging in the sun, a gift shop, champagne bar, piano bar, and a photo gallery.

Cabin Amenities

Cabins are thoughtfully decorated onboard Regal Princess, whether you’ve booked the smallest interior cabin or largest Grand Suite. The majority of cabin types offer outside views and a private balcony, and all include energy-efficient lighting in line with the modernity of this fairly new ship. All accommodation includes a high standard of features, starting with turndown service each evening and extending to bathrobes, toiletry kits and flat-screen televisions. A hairdryer is provided for you as well as a vanity desk, seating area and spacious bathroom. If you choose a mini-suite or regular suite, you’ll have access to a private concierge lounge to help you make the most of your cruise.

Dining Options

From pizza to sushi, you’ll be able to find something to suit most cravings on Regal Princess! The ship includes three main dining rooms, giving you a choice of seating times. Speciality venues include Sabatini’s, the ship’s primary Italian restaurant serving the flavours of Tuscany with a welcoming ambience. Visit the Ocean Terrace to taste the catch of the day or the International Café for coffee and patisserie. Vines Wine Bar is a popular outlet for trendy tapas and wine tasting, or you can venture to Crown Grill for a tempting selection of juicy steaks and succulent grilled seafood. Horizon Court is a casual buffet-style eatery with internationally-themed self-serve cooking stations.

Entertainment

Princess Cruises excels when it comes to lavish, big-budget productions, so you won’t want to miss a visit to the Princess Theatre during your time onboard Regal Princess. This show lounge spans two decks of seating and offers large-scale musical revues. There’s a separate Princess Live auditorium where you can enjoy stand-up comedy acts or presentations, and the Vista Lounge houses a sizeable dance floor (with accompanying dance hosts for solo travellers) to bop the night away.

Sports and Wellness

Run a few laps around the jogging track, challenge a friend to a game of tennis or work on your golf swing onboard Regal Princess. The ship’s gym is well-appointed with modern exercise equipment and sea views. You’ll also be able to indulge in a pampering massage, soothing facial or beautifying nail treatment at the Lotus Spa. Operated by Steiner Leisure, it’s the place to go when you want to chill.

The cabin we were given was L105, which was an outstanding cabin, comfortable and spacious, with a very large balcony right at the front of the ship.

We had an absolutely wonderful trip. It was our third cruise and this ship is beautiful, and the service and everything else met our high expectations.
