ABOUT QUEEN VICTORIA

Ship Amenities

The ship’s interior features ornate detailing stemming back to Edwardian and Victorian styles, with wrought-iron balustrades, sculpted balconies and plenty of warm wooden tones. It offers a sense of classic grandeur that makes cruising onboard Queen Victoria a timeless experience. At the heart of the ship’s interior is it's Grand Lobby, which spans three decks with its public lounges and historical displays. Visit the Royal Arcade to visit Royal Doulton and Harrods shops, the Casino to try your luck at the roulette tables, or the Library to access 6,000 books in a stunning setting. The Golden Lion Pub is a friendly place to gather for karaoke singalongs and pub quizzes with friends, or you can visit the Commodore Club for ocean views and evening entertainment. Outdoors there are several pools, as well as a grand conservatory and rattan furniture.

Cabin Amenities

Accommodation onboard Queen Victoria is comfortable and cleverly laid out to make the most of the space. There are cabins specifically designed for solo travellers, as well as lavish suites with wraparound balconies and en-suite wet bars. All accommodation includes standard features like flat-screen TV sets, premium mattresses and linens, and complimentary toiletries.

Dining Options

One of the highlights of any Cunard cruises is its cuisine, and the Queen Victoria is no exception with its excellent array of options. Head to the Britannia Restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner service in an opulent setting. Tables are laid with Waterford Wedgwood china, and you’ll be able to select from a staggering wine list. Another option is the Queens Grill or Princess Grill, offering exclusive dining for Grill Class passengers. For an alfresco dining experience, you can sit outdoors in the Courtyard which provides ample shelter from the wind for dinner under the stars. Verandah Restaurant offers classic French cuisine, while the Lido Café is the ship’s casual buffet for those who wish to serve themselves. Indulge in a Lavazza coffee from Café Carinthia, or a glass of bubbly at the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar. Finally, the Golden Lion Pub is the place to go when you’re in the mood for hearty British fare from fish and chips to bangers and mash.

Entertainment

The Royal Court Theatre is an impressively designed show lounge, carefully outfitted to resemble a classic opera house with its royal boxes and touches of gilt décor. It seats 830 passengers in comfort, with excellent sight lines giving way to the stage. The entertainment programme ranges from classical concerts to song and dance-style revues to keep you busy in the evening. You can also head to the champagne bars, pubs and karaoke lounges to enjoy your evenings at sea.

Sports and Wellness

It wouldn’t be a relaxing holiday without access to a spa, so visit the Cunard Royal Health Club and Spa to pick and choose from a range of pampering treatments. Massages, body wraps and facials are all on offer in this soothing setting. The spa complex also includes a large gymnasium, where you can work out using state-of-the-art equipment with ocean views surrounding you. And you can get all dolled up for dinner with a trip to the onsite beauty salon!
