Typical Passengers

Norwegian Spirit is a great all-rounder, with activities sure to appeal to a wide range of ages. Its pulsing nightclubs draw younger adults ready to get in the party spirit, while its video arcade, wet ‘n’ wild play area and childcare centres draw families with children of all ages.

Ship Amenities

The ship’s outdoor features include a promenade deck that wraps its way around the ship, giving way to ocean views and plenty of space to top up your tan. Multiple swimming pools are on hand, as well as hot tubs, whirlpools, and outdoor recreation stages. There’s a sizeable area for children to play in, tucked at the opposite end of the ship from more adult areas like the spa. Indoors, you’ll find a chic atrium lobby with glass-walled lifts as well as a 450-seat room that doubles as an observation lounge by day and live music venue by night. Low-key features include a conference and business centre, and there’s also a smoking room where you can unwind with a sip of cognac and a fine cigar. The lobby’s second level includes a chic shopping concourse, lined with duty-free shops and souvenir stands. Maharajah’s Casino beckons in guests with its bright lights and friendly atmosphere, with no jacket and tie necessary to try your hand at the roulette tables.

Cabin Amenities

A high percentage of cabins aboard Norwegian Spirit include private balconies, and two-thirds of accommodation offers an outside view. Space is given a premium here, so you can expect smart layouts with a decent size of shower enclosure in the private bathroom. All cabins include 100 percent cotton linens and towels, as well as a personal safe, vanity desk, hair dryer, and flat screen television. For additional space to relax, choose an Executive Suite with its separate bedroom and lounging area. These include mosaic tiled floors in the bathrooms, along with whirlpool tubs and showers with a view.

Dining Options

There’s no shortage of options when it comes to mealtimes, starting with the Windows Restaurant which serves as the main dining room. Here you’ll find a traditional menu showcasing regional flavours and international classics alike, with cathedral-style windows giving way to sweeping views. The Garden Room Restaurant is a secondary dining room for added intimacy, and the Raffles Terrace Café is the ship’s self-service buffet. Specialty dining options include everything from Brazilian steakhouse Moderno Churrascaria to Chinese dim sum venue Taipan. Shogun Asian Restaurant offers delectably fresh sushi and Japanese dishes, and Maxim’s is on hand for classic French cuisine. Options are rounded out with the Blue Lagoon Café, The Bund street food bar, and a lobby café with coffees and pastries.

The Moulin Rouge Show Lounge is the ship’s main theatre, seating 973 guests at once over main and balcony levels. You can enjoy Broadway-style revues and high-value productions alike on Norwegian Spirit, and the lounge also can be used as a cinema on some evenings with surround-sound effects. In addition to this main lounge you’ll also find live music and DJ-led dancing throughout the ship’s bars and lounges.

Sports and Wellness

There’s no need for wellness to take a backseat on holiday, as the Norwegian Spirit offers a high-tech gymnasium at the Roman Spa and Fitness Centre. From aerobics to weight lifting equipment, you can take your pick of workout styles. There’s also a room for exercycle classes, along with an outdoor golf driving range, jogging track, and basketball and tennis courts. The spa is operated by Mandara, giving you a choice of lush treatments like hydrotherapy, aromatherapy steams, and soothing massages.
