Ship Amenities

There’s loads of space for fun and frolic in the sun onboard Norwegian Dawn. The kids’ splash and play area includes a space-themed water park, where they can take advantage of a paddling pool and water slide. Adults have their own pool area as well, where all ages can soak in the sun or cool down with a dip. The ship’s central atrium lobby provides a place to socialise, relax or seek out concierge services. There are plentiful bars and lounges here, many with sweeping ocean views. Facilities also include a sizeable casino, 3,000-book library, card room, study room, business centre, and internet café. Passengers can shop until they drop in the retail mall area, stocked with duty-free shops and places to buy various sundries.

Cabin Amenities

There are multiple grades of accommodation to choose from onboard Norwegian Dawn, whether you’re seeking cabins with interconnecting doors for the whole family or a lavish suite with ocean views for a romantic getaway. The bathrooms are decently sized, with spacious shower enclosures and whirlpool tubs in the larger suites. Standard features include air conditioning, vanity desks, hair dryers, and flat-screen televisions for your convenience. The largest living quarters are the Garden Villas, which sit on top of the ship in their own unique pod. These include private sunbathing areas, Italian gardens and butler service.

Dining Options

From morning coffee to late night snacks, you’ll never be left hanging when it comes to food and drink. Norwegian Dawn’s dining options are available in a ‘freestyle’ system, which means you can make reservations to eat where you like each evening. For those who wish to enjoy a main dining experience, the Venetian, Impressions, and Aqua are on hand to serve traditional continental cuisine with regional influences. Venetian also includes a baby grand piano for a little dinnertime entertainment. Sample the flavours of Asia at Bamboo, with its blend of Chinese, Thai and Japanese cuisine, or visit Le Bistro for delicious French options. Garden Café allows you to serve yourself from its lavish buffet spread, including action stations for made-to-order omelettes and pasta. Indulge in Spanish tapas at Salsa, burgers and chips at Blue Lagoon, or Italian specialties at La Trattoria. A steakhouse, gelato bar, beer garden, and coffee shop round out the options onboard.

Stardust Theatre should be your first port of call when you’re in the mood for colourful theatrics, musical spectacles and cabaret acts. It’s designed to look like an opulent opera house, and seats over 1,000 guests in high style. In addition to this main programming, you can also visit the array of bars and lounges to discover live music throughout the evening.

Sports and Wellness

Venture to El Dorado for all your wellness needs. This is Norwegian Dawn’s spa and gym complex, offering everything from Thai massage to aromatherapy treatments in its airy surroundings. The gym is well-equipped with the latest fitness equipment, and you can also take part in a busy schedule of exercise classes to stay on top of your game at sea.
