Typical Passengers

The atmosphere onboard MSC Sinfonia is larger than life, with plenty of late nights and celebratory events to take part in. This type of ambience makes it particularly well-suited to adult couples or solo travellers who enjoy these types of festivities, as well as families with children who can enjoy the varied kids’ clubs and youth activities on offer. Children’s play areas are equipped with LEGO and Chicco products, and there’s a large waterpark to get the whole family involved.

Ship Amenities

In addition to the spacious waterpark, there’s a wide range of outdoor facilities to enjoy including the Lido Deck with its outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool tubs and cushioned sun loungers. Indoors, the décor fits in with the modern European vibe of the ship, with minimalist furnishings and clean lines. Interior colours are calming, and you’ll find plenty of little nooks and crannies to sit and enjoy the view. The ship’s main lobby is lined with shopping boutiques, cafes and entertainment venues to provide a social hub for the passengers.

Cabin Amenities

There’s a wide range of categories to choose from when it comes to accommodation, with prices varying according to size, location and view. At the top end you’ll find 132 suites, all including a private balcony, as well as outside-view cabins. Even at the most basic level, interior cabins include a bevy of high-end amenities including private bathrooms with showers, a flat-screen television, personal safe, vanity desk, hairdryer, and minibar with refrigerator. Suites also include a separate lounge and seating area as well as a walk-in closet and bathtub.

Dining Options

With its Italian influences, dining onboard MSC Sinfonia is always a treat. This starts in the main dining rooms, including Il Galeone and Il Covo. Both share the same menu and tempting wine list, though décor and theme vary slightly. For something a bit more casual, La Terrazza is the ship’s self-service buffet restaurant. It’s open day or night, with waiter service on hand for the dinner service. Passengers can enjoy a lighter bite at Café del Mare, or sip on a specialty coffee and premium pastry at Le Baroque Café. From burgers to pasta, there are plenty of options on offer.

When the sun goes down, the atmosphere onboard MSC Sinfonia becomes livelier than ever. The Gondola Theatre offers a plush ambience spread out over two decks of tiered seating. Its entertainment programme varies throughout the week, but you may see everything from comedy acts to mimes, magicians, or song and dance spectacles. These tend to focus on the visual aspect of the shows, due to the multilingual nature of MSC’s passengers. In addition to the main show lounge, there is plenty of entertainment to enjoy within the ship’s various bars and lounges including live music, karaoke and DJ-led dancing.

Sports and Wellness

Treat yourself with a visit to the onboard Spa, where you can sweat out toxins in the thermal suite, enjoy aromatherapy treatments, or nourish your skin with a mud masque. Massage, nail treatments and hairstyling are all on hand to leave you feeling rejuvenated. The spa also includes a high-tech gym on the premises, featuring strengthening equipment, cardio classes and ocean views to keep you motivated. And when you’re feeling sporty, hit the decks outside for a game of basketball, volleyball, or mini-golf. The ship’s climbing wall rounds out the options to keep you on your toes at sea.
