Typical Passengers

From tots to pensioners, there’s something to suit all tastes on MSC Orchestra. It’s particularly suited to young adult couples as well as solo travellers and families with children, due to its big-ship amenities and lively lifestyle. A variety of nationalities are represented, thanks to the Mediterranean vibe and welcoming, multilingual staff.

Ship Amenities

The ship’s interior stands out for its luxury, with soft furnishings, minimalist furniture and eye-catching artwork. One highlight is undoubtedly the Out of Africa Savannah Lounge, with its stunning décor and warm woodwork. Real marble is used throughout the interior, and the atrium lobby hosts classical music throughout the day. This area serves as the internal focal point for entertainment, dining and shopping; showcasing a floating crystal piano and water feature. Facilities onboard include various lounges and bars, a library, a card room, and a cigar lounge with a luxurious collection of international cigars. The San Remo Casino is another hub for socialising with passengers gathering over its roulette and poker tables. Floor-to-ceiling windows are located throughout the ship, giving views of the outdoor swimming pools and sun decks. Even the restrooms come with an ocean view!

Cabin Amenities

Cabin types include interior cabins, outside-view cabins, mini-suites, and the most lavish suites with a private balcony. All include an array of convenient amenities to make your stay more entertaining and comfortable, starting with a complimentary continental breakfast each morning for those who enjoy breakfast in bed! Additional features include private bathrooms with toiletries, satellite TV, minibars, a personal safe, and 24-hour room service. Suites include added space with larger lounges and balconies.

Dining Options

The two main dining rooms are called L’Ibiscus and Villa Borghese, each with extensive windows to offer a sweeping view with your meal. Dinner is served at a set time, but breakfast and lunch offer open seating. When it comes to specialty dining, a highlight onboard MSC Orchestra is its Shanghai Chinese Restaurant. You can enjoy authentic dim sum lunches here, with Beijing, Cantonese, Szechuan, and Shanghai culinary styles all represented. Enjoy Italian fare at the Four Seasons Restaurant, or visit the casual buffet at La Piazzetta for a more relaxed dining experience. It’s open 20 hours a day, ensuring you’ll never go hungry.

From thumping dance floors to karaoke nights and big screen cinema experiences, entertainment options are always on point. MSC Orchestra offers a large, elegantly decorated show lounge in the form of Covent Garden. It showcases live musical extravaganzas each evening. If you fancy dancing the night away to a live band, head to the Opera Lounge, or visit the G32 disco for DJ-led dance tunes with a young, energetic crowd. Live music is available on deck at every turn, with dozens of bars and lounges to choose from.

Sports and Wellness

Sporty types are well-served onboard MSC Orchestra, with multiple swimming pools and deck quoits in the fresh air. Play a round of shuffleboard or take part in a pick-up basketball game. Families gravitate to the mini-golf course, and there are also tennis courts as well as a jogging track. No luxury cruise would be complete without a trip to the spa, so visit the Orchestra Health Centre to enjoy pampering beauty treatment ranging from Balinese massage with hot stones to aromatherapy in the steam room. The thermal suite is attached, with its bevy of steam rooms and saunas, and there’s also a hair salon on hand to make sure you look your best.
