MSC Musica suits a variety of types of passengers, ranging from young adult couples drawn to its pulsing nightclubs and exciting excursions to families with children who can appreciate its play centres, video games rooms and kids’ clubs. Solo travellers are also well-represented, and you can expect an international, multilingual blend of passengers.

Ship Amenities

Passengers gather in the central atrium lobby, which spans three decks with water features and a crystal piano floating centrepiece. Inside you’ll find everything from chic shopping boutiques to luxurious lounges, a cigar bar and a virtual reality activity centre. Entertainment outlets in the ship’s interior include a nightclub, disco, wine bar, and show lounge, and there’s also the slick surroundings of the San Remo Casino with its array of gaming tables and slot machines. The ship’s library is fully stocked with bestselling titles and classics alike, and a low-key card room is on hand for those who enjoy more traditional cruising entertainment. Outdoors, you’ll find sun decks and swimming pools with hot tubs, as well as old-fashioned shuffleboard courts, a tennis court and jogging track.

Cabin Amenities

Accommodation on MSC Musica is as chic as the public areas, with warm wooden tones and soft furnishings. Choose from a range of different layouts and price grades, ranging from interior cabins to outside-view cabins, mini-suites and suites with private balconies. A free continental breakfast is on hand for all guests, served between 7:30 and 10am, and you’ll also find free coffee and tea making facilities as well as a minibar and satellite TV. Enjoy room service 24 hours a day, as well as standard features like private bathrooms with showers, complimentary toiletries, and a personal safe.

Dining Options

With MSC having an Italian background, it’s no surprise that dining options on MSC Musica are top-notch. This includes the main dining rooms, L’Oleandro and Le Maxim’s, with their abundant windows and seasonal Mediterranean-influenced menus. For casual buffet service, visit Archi Cafeteria day or night, as it’s open 20 hours a day. Specialty options include the fine Italian cuisine at Il Giardino, as well as sushi at Kaito and small plates of Italian delicacies at Enoteca Wine Bar. And for late night snacks, waiters circulate throughout the ship with platters of fancy desserts and bite-size morsels. Don’t miss the chance to try the ice cream, which is made freshly onboard.

Entertainment options are extensive, lending the ship a party atmosphere that lasts well into the evening. The show lounge is called Teatro La Scala, offering tiered seating and hosting variety acts of a visual nature. Live demonstrations, lectures, and social dancing to a live band can be enjoyed at the Il Tucano Lounge, or you can put on your flashiest outfit and head to the Crystal Lounge nightclub for body-moving beats. Finally, young guests gravitate to the G32 disco with its floor-to-ceiling windows.

Sports and Wellness

In addition to the bevy of sports equipment and basketball/volleyball courts onboard, you’ll also find mini golf and a jogging track. There’s a state-of-the-art gym located in the Aloha Beauty Farm, with forward ocean views and high-tech equipment. This spa and salon also includes a thermal suite with steam rooms, saunas, and aromatherapy, or you could let your cares melt away with an expert massage sure to make you feel relaxed!
