Typical Passengers

Due to its sheer size and scale, MSC Grandiosa caters to all types of passengers from young adults up to mature couples. Like many others in the MSC Cruises fleet, Grandiosa should attract a multicultural demographic along with plenty of families with young children and teens alike.

Ship Amenities

With more public spaces than ever before in the MSC fleet, MSC Grandiosa lives up to her name with everything being bigger, better, and more innovative. This starts in the central Galleria, lined with chic boutiques, tempting restaurants and public bars and lounges. It comes to life each evening with festive parades, parties and live music to keep all ages entertained and delighted, and is capped with a digital sky LED screen with rotating virtual vistas. Outdoors, the Atmosphere pool offers a solid 10 square metres of space per guest, framed with a giant movie screen and beautifully designed lighting. There’s also a double-deck amusement park area, outdoor water park and host of entertainment spaces. Like its predecessors, MSC Grandiosa includes the MSC Yacht Club for an exclusive ship-within-a-ship experience, with private waiter service, a luxurious pool and sprawling sun loungers. A contemporary fine art museum partners with world-class museums around the world to showcase original artwork, and digital technology allows guests to keep track of appointments and reservations at the touch of a button.

Cabin Amenities

Like other ships in the MSC fleet, Grandiosa offers a full range of cabins and suites to choose from, starting with the smallest interior studios and working your way up to Yacht Club Royal Suite. All accommodation includes standard features like interactive televisions, telephones, safes, minibars, and refrigerators. Rooms are air conditioned for comfort, and many cabins and suites offer balconies with seating areas to soak up the view. Some suites are arranged in a duplex layout, while cluster staterooms are ideal for families.

Dining Options

Like all MSC Cruises ships, you can expect plenty of choice onboard the MSC Grandiosa. The main dining rooms offer a bevy of Mediterranean dishes with international influences, and there’s also a casual buffet restaurant for self-service at any time of day. Specialty dining options include menus selected by celebrity chefs, and families will find plenty of child-friendly options on offer from pizza to ice cream. Naturally, room service is also on hand 24-7.

Entertainment is taken to the next level on MSC Grandiosa, including its partnership with Cirque du Soleil to provide unique acrobatic shows at sea. Shows take place in the custom-designed Carousel Lounge, packed with the latest technology to meet Cirque du Soleil’s unique needs. There’s also a TV Studio and Bar hosting talent contests, quizzes and game shows, and a karaoke centre to keep you busy.

Sports and Wellness

With a sprawling sports complex for all ages to enjoy, there’s no shortage of ways to keep your body moving during days at sea. In addition to tennis courts, basketball courts, and amusement games, you can get your adrenaline pumping with the F1 Simulators or play a few rounds in the ship’s full-size bowling alley. A more traditional workout can be had in the MSC Gym by Technogym, equipped with strength-training and cardio equipment. And for relaxation, don’t miss a trip to the Aurea Spa with its Balinese theme, thermal suite, beauty salon and nail boutique to leave you feeling truly pampered.

MSC Grandiosa Maiden Voyage

Parmar, THORNTON HEATH on 19th May 2020

First impressions of the ship was how sparkly, glitzy it all looks with a nice ‘new car’ smell with the signature Swarovski staircases and the promenade’s vibrant LED ceiling being highlights.

First MSC Cruise

Tugby, Picton on 29th Mar 2020

There were some novel attractions; a children's play area which had a variety of electronic games. There were also some activities for adults, such as driving a simulated F1 race car, or bowling.
