ABOUT LIBERTY OF THE SEAS

Ship Amenities

What doesn’t this ship have? It’s all about the water on Liberty of the Seas, with its themed Splashaway Bay offering geysers, water cannons and a Flowrider surf simulator. Kids of all ages will love the selection of water slides, including the boomerang-styled Tidal Wave. Adults can get away from the splash zone and enjoy their own recreational area, the Solarium, which includes quiet sun loungers and 16-person hot tubs. The Royal Promenade occupies the centre of the ship, offering a modern shopping mall ambience lined with shops, drinking spots and eateries to pass the time. There’s also a regulation-sized ice-skating rink with bleachers for spectators and real ice, as well as an impressive 3,600 book library to relax in.

Cabin Amenities

All cabins include hotel-standard features including a private bathroom with either a tub and shower or standalone shower. You’ll be able to relax with the flat-screen infotainment system, radio, satellite telephone and minibar. There’s a safe to keep belongings secure as well as a vanity desk with a hairdryer to get you ready for your day. Room service menus are on hand when you wish to retire in your cabin. Sizes and layouts vary depending on the price grade, from interior cabins to the Royal and Presidential Family Suites.

Dining Options

Cruising can make you work up an appetite, so Liberty of the Seas is ready to serve you with multiple dining options. These start in the main dining room, set across three levels connected by an elegant sweeping staircase. For a more casual buffet-style of dining, visit the Windjammer Café. Large and bustling, it offers an array of international cuisines for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Johnny Rockets is a fun-filled retro diner straight out of the 1950s, complete with mini jukeboxes, burgers and milkshakes. Additional specialty dining options include steaks and seafood at Chops Grille, modern Mexican cuisine at Sabor and Italian family favourites at Giovanni’s Table. Sushi, deli sandwiches, ice cream, and coffee are all on hand at the eateries dotted throughout the ship. However, be aware that many specialty options will incur a cover charge!

Entertainment

Shows take place day and night, including the Ice Follies spectacular at the ice-skating rink, as well as Broadway-styled entertainment at the Platinum Theatre. With a hydraulic orchestra pit and plenty of seating, it offers a sophisticated environment for evening shows. Don’t miss out on the Greatest Show at Sea Parade, a street parade with stilt walkers, clowns, and other magical performances. Apart from the main shows, you can relax with low-key entertainment in the abundance of bars and lounges. Visit the Olive or Twist lounge for live jazz, Boleros Lounge for Latin music, or the Catacombs disco to dance the night away. A glittering Vegas-styled casino rounds out the entertainment choices here.

Sports and Wellness

Operated by Steiner, the Day Spa is spacious and modern. It’s the perfect place to relax during your time spent on Liberty of the Seas, with massage and treatment rooms, saunas, steam rooms and areas to just relax. Visit the aerobics room for fitness classes, many of which are free of charge. For sports, visit the state-of-the-art gym or try your hand at swimming, surfing, golfing or in-line skating. There’s a jogging track on deck, as well as a full-sized boxing ring and rock-climbing wall for adventurers!
