Ship Amenities

In addition to features like the family play areas and adults-only Sanctuary space with its private cabanas and sun loungers, Emerald Princess also offers a high standard of facilities for all ages to enjoy. This includes the wraparound promenade deck and walkway, giving way to ocean views on all sides of the ship. Outdoor pools are popular meeting points for passengers, featuring a Movies Under the Skies programme on an outdoor movie screen as well as plenty of space for soaking in the sun. You can admire the view or dance the night away from the Skywalkers disco with its floor-to-ceiling windows, or get hitched at sea in the Wedding Chapel. Additional facilities include a flashy casino, library, and wood-panelled maritime lounge called the Wheelhouse Bar. Sports bars, shopping boutiques, and video game areas round out the features here.

Cabin Amenities

Choose from spacious suites or well-appointed interior cabins alike when you cruise on Emerald Princess. There are six primary types of accommodation to choose from, including interior doubles, outside-view doubles, outside-view cabins with balconies, mini-suites, suites, and grand suites at the top end of the spectrum. All are stylishly furnished with earth tones, warm wooden accents and high-quality soft furnishings. Standard perks include toiletry kits and daily housekeeping, along with a flat-screen television, in-room personal safe and interconnecting cabins for families.

Dining Options

There are three main dining rooms to serve all the passengers on this mighty ship, all named after artists like Michelangelo, Da Vinci and Botticelli. One of these offers set seating times, but the other two offer greater flexibility with Princess Cruises’ anytime dining plan. These main restaurants are quite elegant, with Egyptian cotton table linens, polished silverware and traditional cuisine. If you fancy something different, you can visit the Crown Grill steakhouse or Sabatini’s for Italian food in colourful surroundings. In the mood for something more casual? You’ll find burgers and pizza by the pool, coffee drinks at the International Café, or a bevy of buffet options at the Horizon Court. Vines wine bar sits in the atrium lobby, serving a premium selection of wine by the glass as well as small plates and cheese platters. Room service is also on hand day or night, including a luxurious balcony dining experience.

From cabaret shows to string quartets, there’s no shortage of entertainment onboard Emerald Princess! This starts with the Princess Theatre, which seats 800 guests in comfort and style. You’ll find the bigger-budget revues here, or you can head to Club Fusion to get your karaoke on and enjoy cabaret acts in a more casual environment. Visit the Explorer’s Lounge for an exciting programme of dance bands, or simply have a wander through the ship’s public spaces to see what’s on during any given evening. Street performers enchant visitors to the atrium lobby, while a pulsing disco ambience heats up at Skywalkers.

Sports and Wellness

After indulging in all the fine wine and cuisine onboard Emerald Princess, you may wish to keep up with your fitness routine in its gymnasium and spa facilities. The Lotus Spa offers a fully equipped gym packed with cardio and weight-lifting equipment. There are also plenty of fitness classes to get you moving, some free of charge. And when it’s time to slow down a bit, book in for a massage or body wrap in soothing surroundings.

Princess Amongst Princes.

Emerald Princess is another legend in the Princess cruise line. Large enough but not too large where you can get lost. You feel as though you are as regal as the name suggests
