ABOUT CARNIVAL SENSATION

Ship Amenities

Like other ships of its class, Carnival Sensations boasts a broad range of activities to choose from starting with its outdoor recreation. The deck space includes multiple areas for lounging in the sun, along with the main swimming pool and its adjacent hot tubs. The WaterWorks feature is a relatively new addition, giving kids of all ages a selection of water-burst fountains and slides to play with. Adults in search of tranquillity can head to the grownups-only Serenity area, which offers its own pool and lounging space for a fee. Inside, the ship’s social life revolves around the main atrium lobby, spanning six decks with shore excursion desks, a purser’s office, an Atrium Bar, and a sushi bar. There’s also a full selection of lounges, bars and nightclubs in the main area, most leading off of the central Sensational Boulevard which serves as the main street. Enjoy the non-stop action of the Club Vegas Casino, or a quieter moment in the Oak Room Library.

Cabin Amenities

A high standard of comfort is provided at all levels of accommodation. Standard cabin amenities include private bathrooms with toiletries, an infotainment system and TV, telephone, minifridge, and individually controlled air conditioning. If you upgrade to a suite, you’ll also enjoy additional living space as well as more exciting décor and whirlpool bathtubs. A high percentage of cabins feature interconnecting doors, which are a great choice for families!

Dining Options

There are two main dining rooms available on Carnival Sensation. This includes Ecstasy and Fantasy, both with ocean-view windows and tempting internationally-influenced menus along with ‘Carnival Classics’ like baby back ribs or grilled chicken. In line with Carnival’s party vibe, you can expect entertainment along with your dinner in the form of singing, dancing waiters! The ship’s buffet eatery is called the Seaview Bar & Grill. It features a late-night pizzeria, deli counter, and sandwich areas, transforming into the Seaview Bistro at night with pasta, grilled meat, salad, and dessert stations. There’s also a sushi bar on the Promenade Deck as well as a patisserie with speciality coffees and pastries to enjoy.

Entertainment

You can expect plenty of glitz and glamour to make your evenings memorable during days at sea. The Fantasia Lounge is the ship’s go-to destination for major Las Vegas-style productions and cabaret shows, sprawling out over several floors of seating. And when you’re ready to dance the night away, head to the Kaleidoscope Discotheque with its video monitors and bustling multicoloured dance floor.

Sports and Wellness

Take a turn around the jogging track, play a round of mini-golf, or challenge friends to a game of basketball and volleyball. Whatever type of sport you prefer, you’ll find plenty of recreational facilities onboard Carnival Sensation. There’s also a fully stocked gym complete with fitness classes, from kickboxing to yoga, as well as all the cardio and weight equipment you could desire. When you’re ready to unwind, pay a visit to the SpaCarnival with its sauna, steam rooms and beauty salon. You’ll be able to pick and choose from a range of pampering treatments to leave you feeling fully relaxed.

This is a cheap cruise and is all about having fun. It is a very well organised ship with nothing being to much trouble for the members of staff.

CARNIVAL SENSATION

Cole, Leicester, 31st Mar 2016

This cruise exceeded our expectations. The food in the Fantasy restaurant was really good and the staff superb. There were enough places to find some reasonable peace and quiet.
