Although it attracts a varied demographic including cruise passengers from all over the world, what they all have in common is a commitment to fun and frolic. Carnival Liberty caters well for families with children, offering a Dr Seuss entertainment program as well as several children’s clubs divided up by age. Teens have their own chill-out Club O2 to make new friends, while all ages can enjoy features like the outdoor water slide! 

Ship Amenities 

Spacious surroundings await you onboard Carnival Liberty, which offers an open deck with a water slide, swimming pool, multiple hot tubs, and several tiered decks for sunbathing. Adults can enjoy their own little area of bliss in the Serenity retreat, which boasts its own private pool and retractable glass ceiling. Indoors you can make your way to 10 bars, plenty of lounges, and features like the library and internet room. Visit the Jardin Café for specialty coffees, or the Flower Bar to watch the world go by. There’s a wine bar, sports bar, and glitzy casino to round out the main entertainment options in the lobby and atrium. 

Cabin Amenities 

There are multiple price grades, sizes and layouts to choose from when you’re comparing accommodation onboard Carnival Liberty. From interior cabins to suites with private balconies, you can choose the best size and price for your party. Five decks of accommodation offer a private balcony, and there are 18 spa cabins with direct access to the SpaCarnival facilities. At the most basic level, cabins are well-equipped with flat screen infotainment systems, well-stocked private bathrooms, minifridges, and plenty of storage. Many cabins offer third or fourth berths for families with children. 

Dining Options

There’s a wealth of dining outlets to choose from onboard Carnival Liberty. Golden Olympian and Silver Olympian are the two primary dining rooms, each comfortably seating a high volume of guests in opulent surroundings. You’ll be able to choose from either fixed or flexible dining times to best suit your needs. The secondary dining options included in your cruise fare is Emile’s, an international food court and buffet. It’s open day or night with a wide range of different self-serve stations, from pizza to barbecue dishes. Special occasions call for the elegant setting of the Steakhouse, the ship’s specialty restaurant serving juicy cuts of meat and expertly prepared grilled seafood. 


Carnival Liberty heats up after dark with an array of dance clubs, lounges, and bars to choose from including karaoke, trivia contests, and live music. Visit the Piano Man bar for singalongs over the tinkling ivories, or Tattooed Lady Dance Club for a hearing impaired-friendly disco experience. It offers a video wall with live dance floor projections to provide a stylish ambience. The main entertainment venue is the Venetian Palace Show Lounge, hosting Vegas-style productions with all the feather-clad showgirls one would expect, while the Victoria Lounge is a secondary option with live music, cabaret, and stand-up comedy for adults. 

Sports and Wellness

Visit the SpaCarnival for all your health and wellness needs throughout your cruise. This spacious fitness complex includes multiple treatment rooms, whether you’re in the mood for a facial, body wrap or massage. There’s also sauna and steam rooms, a beauty parlour, and a solarium as part of the expansive complex. And when you’re ready to work up a sweat, start your day at the ship’s high-tech gym with its fitness classes, weight machines, personal trainers, cardio equipment and ocean views.
