ABOUT CARNIVAL LEGEND

Ship Amenities

Powered with a pod propulsion system, the ship operates smoothly without vibration. It’s filled to the brim with entertainment and recreation, recently modified to best suit the tastes of its primarily Australasian audience. There’s no shortage of space for sunbathing, with two swimming pools and a water park. The Kids Splash Zone is a highlight of the ship’s outdoor spaces, letting little ones play around with water jets, wheels, blasters, and Mini Racer slides amongst other features. The star of the show is the Green Thunder, a ride that drops you from 30 metres above sea level on a rapid vertical descent. Adults in need of a little peace and quiet can venture to the Sanctuary, which features its own hot tub, bar and pool. Carnival Legend offers an eclectic interior, with décor dedicated to 20th-century jazz musicians and athletes. Enjoy a round of blackjack in the Club Merline Casino, stock up on candy at Cherry on Top, or stroll down the shopping promenade with its designer boutiques. There’s also a sports bar, photo gallery, and internet-equipped library to keep you busy.

Cabin Amenities

There are a number of cabin categories available onboard Carnival Legend, starting with the most basic interior cabins and working their way up to spacious suites. All are decorated with vibrant colours and comfortable soft furnishings, and many include porthole windows or balconies. Twin beds can be converted into queen-sized doubles as needed. Many cabins also feature additional bunks to accommodate families with kids. All accommodation offers individually controlled air conditioning, telephones, and an interactive television.

Dining Options

Head to Truffles Restaurant for your main meals on the Carnival Legend. This is the ship’s opulent main dining room, seating 1,300 guests on two levels. Look up and you’ll see intricate painted murals meant to emulate a china pattern, and you can choose from fixed time or flexible seating. For something a tad more casual, venture to the Unicorn Café day or night for buffet-style service and a bevy of international options. Outlets here include an Asian corner, pizzeria, salad bar, dessert bar, and rotisserie among other stations. This space transforms into the Seaview Bistro in the evenings, offering self-service dinners as well. If you’re in the mood for something special, visit the Steakhouse with its prime steaks, seafood, and sophisticated décor.

Entertainment

Don’t miss the chance to visit Follies Show Lounge during your time at sea! This theatre is truly lavish, with beautifully detailed decorations and murals as well as comfortable plush seating. It showcases cabaret productions and musical revues, with three levels of seating. Underneath the main theatre, you’ll find the Firebird Lounge, a comfortable bar for pre-show drinks. Satchmo’s Club offers live music and a livelier dance floor, while Billie’s Bar offers a fun singalong piano bar experience.

Sports and Wellness

Keep fit and feel great in the ship’s abundant sports and recreation facilities. There’s an outdoor jogging track, two swimming pools with adjacent hot tubs and an indoor gymnasium complete with ocean views and fitness classes. The SpaCarnival is the go-to place for a little rest and relaxation during your time at sea. Spoil yourself with a massage, facial, or body wrap, before unwinding in the aromatic shower rooms, sauna or steam rooms. And if you’re in the mood for a new look, visit the ship’s beauty salon for a consultation.

I loved being there. Carnival is an awesome place to have a honeymoon. We had such magical nights and the food was just from another world. You have saltwater pools and hot tubes too.
