ABOUT CARNIVAL ECSTASY

Ship Amenities

From outdoor pools to designer shops, Carnival Ecstasy includes plenty of ways to pass the time. There’s ample space both inside and out – head outdoors to enjoy the swimming area and jogging track, or indoors to the central atrium to admire the splashy artwork courtesy of Miami-based designer Joe Farcus. Think Rolls-Royce cars, glass domes and vibrant touches inspired by ancient mythology. At the lowest level of the interior atrium, you’ll find the ship’s excursions desk along with a sushi bar and Atrium Bar featuring live music. Have a wander down the City Highlights Boulevard to take in the sights, whether you’re in the mood to puff on a fine cigar, sip a mocktail or dance until dawn in the ship’s entertainment lounges and nightclubs. Gaming fans won’t want to miss trying their luck at the Crystal Palace Casino, and you can venture to the library for a bit of serenity.

Cabin Amenities

Carnival Ecstasy offers a full range of accommodation styles to suit all party sizes and budgets. At the most basic level, you’ll find interior staterooms with queen-size beds, private bathrooms and 24-hour room service. You can upgrade to larger rooms with balconies or stylish suites if you want to have a bit more space to spread out – outside suites include additional seating areas and ocean views. The room service menu is also more extensive for suite-grade occupants, something to keep in mind if you like to stay in to dine!

Dining Options

Speaking of dining, you’ll have loads of options onboard the Ecstasy, starting with its main spaces – ‘Wind Star’ and ‘Wind Song’.  Both offer comforting classics served by singing, dancing waiters, along with ocean views and contemporary décor. For buffet-style dining, you have the Panorama Bar and Grill which includes pizzas and a deli counter in the daytime. In the evening, it transforms into the stylish Seaview Bistro with a full spread of salads, pasta dishes, and steaks to enjoy. Speciality restaurants include everything from Mexican food at the Blue Iguana Cantina to handmade burgers at Guy’s Burger Joint.

Entertainment

Evenings onboard the Carnival Ecstasy don’t disappoint. You’ll be spoilt for choice between the cabaret acts at the Blue Sapphire Show Lounge and the sophisticated concerts of the ship’s cigar lounges and jazz bars. High-energy productions feature song and dance routines backed by live musicians, and children can enjoy films and participation acts of their own.

Sports and Wellness

The ship’s health spa sits on its top deck, featuring ocean views through its floor-to-ceiling windows. Work those muscles with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, work up a sweat with an aerobics fitness class, or sweat out your stresses in the sauna and steam rooms. There are also massages, beauty treatments and hair styling professional available, along with plenty of sports and recreation from volleyball to basketball.

The ship is well kept, not luxurious, but a nice getaway. The Pool deck is crowded with children, but there is an adult only area with two hot tubs.
