ABOUT CARNIVAL CONQUEST

Ship Amenities

A well-balanced ship, Carnival Conquest represents its Conquest class well, with multiple tiers of sunbathing decks and a duo of sizeable swimming pools. One of these features a lengthy water slide, and there are hot tubs as well as the Seaside Cinema to round out the outdoor recreation options. Guests congregate in the two atriums, with interior décor inspired by Impressionist painters with gorgeous Murano glass flowers throughout. Visit the Tahiti Casino to test your luck at the slot machines and gaming tables, or hit the nightspots like Vincent’s Piano Bar or Henri’s Dance Club to find a vibe that suits your mood. The atmosphere resembles a high-end Las Vegas casino, with all the sound, lights and glamour that one would expect. Sports bars and specialty shopping boutiques round out the public areas here, including Cherry On Top with its bins of bulk candy and novelty gifts!

Cabin Amenities

Accommodation is plush and comfortable onboard Carnival Conquest, with premium linens and cushy twin or Queen-size beds to choose from. A high percentage of cabins come with private balconies, and there are also 18 spa cabins giving direct access to the fitness centre’s gym and thermal suites. Even standard size cabins are well-appointed with adequate storage, private bathrooms and vanity desks with hair dryers.

Dining Options

Carnival Conquest offers a full selection of eateries to suit your cravings both day and night. Specialty options include Guy’s Burger Joint, created by celebrity chef Guy Fieri and dishing up a selection of hearty burgers and hand cut fries. Blue Iguana Cantina showcases the flavours of Mexico, and Cezanne’s Restaurant is an international food court complete with Chinese cuisine at PC’s Wok and the sandwiches at Paul’s Deli. For a more upscale dining experience you can visit the Steakhouse, or enjoy a multicourse meal in one of the ship’s two primary dining rooms. Monet and Renoir both span over two decks with balcony seating. The menu is varied and extensive, with delightfully high-energy service.

Entertainment

The ship springs to life in the evenings with a spirited program of entertainment to suit all tastes. If you’re in the mood for flashy costumes, bright lights, and special effects, head to the main show lounge. The Toulouse-Lautrec Theatre seats up to 1,400 people in grand style. Its spectacular musical productions are enabled with a hydraulic orchestra pit and revolving stage. There’s also a full selection of bars and lounges to choose from, many of which make space in the evenings for live music, dancing and quizzes to get everyone involved.

Sports and Wellness

Carnival Conquest features a sports area apart from its swimming pools, where you can play traditional games like table tennis or take a stroll in the fresh air around the promenade deck. For a more focused fitness routine, visit the ship’s high-tech gym. It’s packed with all the equipment you need to work your muscles to leave you toned and trim. After your workout, indulge in a spa treatment or two to unwind. The body treatment area is the perfect place to enjoy a deep tissue massage or indulge in a detoxifying body wrap.

Carnival Conquest was a fun and friendly ship! Yes, it can be a bit gaudy with the decor! But it was spotlessly clean.

I would say that they were the happiest crew we had encountered and went out of their way to ensure every passenger enjoyed their cruise.
