ABOUT ANTHEM OF THE SEAS

Ship Amenities

Anthem of the Seas expertly combines a flashy, upscale atmosphere with modern technology and a fun-loving party vibe. You’ll find unique artwork throughout the ship, from the cherry blossom sculpture crafted from crystal and gold to the interactive podium that matches your heartbeat to a light-up chandelier. Technology plays a strong role in the experience - you’ll check in by iPad, make your restaurant bookings online and be served by robot bartenders. In terms of recreation, Anthem of the Seas offers a few standout features that you won’t see in other classes of ships, like the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulation. The North Star is another highlight, taking passengers up 300 feet in the air to enjoy 360-degree views from a glass capsule.

Visit the Seaplex area to enjoy roller skating, bumper cars, and other activities to the thumping sounds of a live DJ, or visit the Casino Royale to test your luck at the slot machines and gaming tables.

Cabin Amenities

There are over 2,000 cabins onboard Anthem, including several different categories ranging from the smallest interior staterooms to the larger interconnected spaces and high-end suites. One unique feature you’ll find in some rooms are the virtual balconies. These offer floor-to-ceiling HD Screens, offering real-time views of the destinations and ocean. Some rooms include balconies, while others offer separate seating areas. Studio staterooms are a handy feature for solo travellers, and all accommodation includes standard amenities like infotainment systems, private bathrooms and storage.

Dining Options

You’ll find a blend of complimentary restaurants and alternative venues to choose from, ensuring there’s something to suit every taste. Specialty restaurants include Italian fare from celebrity chef Jamie Oliver as well as artisan pub dishes from chef Michael Schwarz. Visit the Solarium Bistro for healthy, light dishes crafted by weight loss expert Devin Alexander, or go down the rabbit hole into the world of molecular gastronomy at Wonderland. There’s also sushi available at Izumi and American favourites with a 50s diner twist at Johnny Rockets. The main restaurants include Chic, Silk, Coastal Kitchen, and American Icon Grille, or you can enjoy an elegant evening in The Grande.

Entertainment

Broadway musicals, robotic screens and comedy shows are just a few examples of the vast range of entertainment available on this ship. The Esplanade and Via areas are the hubs for evening activity, scattered with bars, lounges and restaurants. The Two70 venue offers panoramic sea views from its floor-to-ceiling glass windows, along with multiple levels of screens and stages. The Music Hall is the place to be for DJ-led dancing, live musical performances and edgier rock-and-roll theme nights, while the Royal Theatre offers musicals like We Will Rock You. And don’t miss a chance to visit the Bionic Bar to sip on a cocktail made by robots.

Sports and Wellness

Visit the Vitality at Sea Spa to indulge in a day of pampering. You can enjoy manicures, pedicures, massages, body wraps, facials, or hair treatments in soothing surroundings here. The wellness complex includes the adults-only Solarium, as well as a number of steam rooms, whirlpools and outdoor pools to encourage relaxation. Alternately, burn off all the cocktails and ice creams you’ll be enjoying with a gym session or visit to the jogging track.
