Thats how Sir Richard Branson describes the beautiful city of Havana.

And now the Scarlet Lady – Virgin Voyages first cruise ship will add Havana to its list of ports of call when it sets sail from its home port of Miami in 2020.

Manuel Marrero Crus – Cuba’s tourism minister was very pleased with the news:

“We have a long-standing relationship with Sir Richard Branson and the Virgin Group and are pleased to announce this new partnership with Virgin Voyages.

“The Cuban people look forward to welcoming Virgin Voyages’ first ship, its crew and passengers to our shores in 2020”.

Bookings will go on sale sometime on 2019.

But this isnt the first announcement of late regarding the highly anticipated cruise ship. Sir Richard Branson also announced the scarlet lady would feature a tattoo parlour at sea.

He then announced a 4th ship to the fleet due in , 2023, with the first- The Scarlte Lady due in 2020, then 2021 and 2022 for the next two.

Features will include:

Richards Rooftop – An outdoor deck exclusive to suite guests

Pink Agave – An upscale Mexican restaurant

The Athletic Club

The Manor nightclub

The Dock outdoor lounge.

I have to say I am very excited about The Scarlet Lady launching, maybe one to consider 2020 and will look forward to seeing when these go on sale
