Summer Lovin happened so Fast

Well hasnt summer flown by!!

But doesnt it always, before we know it Summer is over and we are on the uphill climb to my favourite time of year, Autumn, followed by – dare I say, Christmas.

This Autumn will prove to be quite an exciting one since there are a fair few ships due to launch between now and xmas.

We have MSC Grandiosa in October

Norwegian Encore late Octover/November

Costa Smerelda

Sky Princess

and Carnival Panorama

All of which I am very excited about, particularly MSC Grandiosa and NCL Encore because I will have the privilege of attending the launch events for both these ship, somehow I didnt quite get my invite to Sky Princess!!

MSC Grandiosa will launch in October down in Southampton with what I am sure will prove to be quite a party, MSC are good at launch parties, cannot wait to see this sparkly new ship. Grandiosa will cater for  6,300 passengers and with a host of entertainment, including a fine art museum and Cirque du Soleil show. MSC Grandiosa will also feature a meter-111 foot long indoor promenade with  restaurants, bars and shops. The overhead promenade is covered by a digital led screen. There will also be a water park and amusement park for the children and big kids too lol!!

NCL Encore will be from Germany where we will sail from Bremerhaven back to Southampton for a couple of nights, now I have sailed NCL so this is even more exciting if thats entirely possible. This will have a go kart track up on top deck – I hope I get to try that out as a first. Evenrtually Encore will head to Miami.

And 2020?

Well a whole host of new ships of which I am sure something will float your boat, from Celebrity Apex, Carnival Mardis Gras, Virgins Scarlet Lady, P&O Iona, Enchanted Princess – to name but a few.

So dont despair, summer may be over, but there is enough ship excitement to keep us going!!
