Menorca here we come

Well the countdown is on until we jet off on our summer hols this year as we head off to a little villa holiday in Menorca.

I can hear the pool and lilo and a good book calling me now.  I cannot wait for a week of relaxation around the pool, maybe a few barbecues and dinners out in the evening.

We absolutely love Menorca and all the little hidden coves with amazing beaches around the island, Ciutadella is also beautiful with its lovely harbour. We will have a car and so can get out and explore the island taking the snorkel gear with us for any hidden beaches we find. There are also some fabulous horse riding trips into the countryside in the evenings for some wonderful sunsets.

But more so, it will b great to relax since our daughter has now completed her GCSEs

So cruising is taking a back seat for us this summer so I will have to make do with the beautiful yachts around Mahon harbour, a sight for sure.
