Carnival Cruises announce Dr Seuss Waterpark

"Richmond, Virginia, USA - May 21st, 2012: Cancelled Stamp From The United States Featuring The Children's Book Author, Theodor Seuss Geisel."

Fab news from Carnival Cruise lines recently when they announced their brand new Dr Seuss themed water park which will launch onboard the brand new Carnival Horizon.

Dr Seuss Waterworks will be based on the themed characters and stories such as Cat in the Hat which will have a 150 tonnes tipping bucket and splash zone. There will also be a 450 foot high enclosed raft slide and water spray toys.

This will compliment the already successful Cat in the Hat themed dining and green ham and eggs themed breakfast, story time, and character parades, along with arts and crafts and activities already under the Seuss at sea programme.

Carnival Horizon launches spring 2018 following the launch on sister ship Carnival Vista in spring 2016.

I had been lucky enough to sail for my family holiday onboard Carnival Vista in the Havana Cabanas which Horizon will also feature: Havana Cabanas

These cabanas are simply amazing, private terraces with swing hammocks, exclusive pool and hot tubs, they are amazing.

Horizon will feature a series of European cruises during April 2018 before doing her transatlantic sailing in May to New York where she will homeport until moving to Miami in the Autumn.

Carnival are most definately the fun cruise line with so many already great onboard features in Vista Class such as the high ropes and skyride, arcades and Imax, the waterworks will only add to the fun, great feature 🙂
