The Caribbean holiday for Families

Caribbean is a great destination and cruises do it best giving the opportunity to see so many beautiful islands in one holiday

In general, the Caribbean islands and bigger resorts struggle to offer a wide variety of facilities where children can be fully entertained every day of their holiday. The bigger hotels like Atlantis also charge top prices compared to cruise prices.

The entertainment and facilities on board vary from ship to ship but the bigger and newer ships are the best for it and have something different to offer every day.

If you are looking for a Caribbean holiday and travelling with children the best advice is to look for a cruise.

When you are on board you can enjoy the waterslides, pools, surfing simulators, climbing walls, escape rooms, laser rooms, game arcades as well as the shows and musicals in the evening and sometimes the extra shows in the afternoon.

Parents are allowed disembark without the children and spend a few hours at the private islands or at any other port whilst their children spend time at the children’s clubs. This is ideal if want to visit places your children may not enjoy or if you fancy digging your feet in the sand and have some me time. Either way the choice is yours!

The children’s club are free of charge and vary in age range. There are plenty of different activities organised every day, from baking, prize giving games, painting, disco parties, competitions, guessing games, storytelling, the list is endless..

I agree that as a family it’s important to spend the holidays having fun together, but the children’s clubs are a great choice if you want to spend a few hours doing something else whilst they get all the care and attention they need.

This means the children are never bored and you don’t have to drag them everywhere if they don’t want to.

Overall you get the best of both worlds, and it’s a great way to keep all the family happy and occupied. A happy holiday is a happy family!
