Regular cruisers and agents alike are fully aware that promotions and prices change all the time. The most popular question I get asked as an agent is when the best time to book is. Well if Royal Caribbean floats your boat the time is NOW….Do not delay.

Royal Caribbean have launched their new campaign for August with many cruises including an all-inclusive drinks package and all your gratuities pre-paid. That’s basically everything taken care of apart from your excursions which are of course optional. This is the best promotion I think Royal Caribbean have ever had and it is proving to be extremely popular.

They have obviously seen how successful the Celebrity 123 promotion went down again the last couple of months any fancied a piece of the action.

The all inclusive drinks package is worth up to $40 per person per day and includes beer, wine by the glass, fountain soda and non-alcoholic cocktails.

It seems to be this is very much the way that cruises are now going with majority of the 6 star lines and river being all inclusive, and from the big boys Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, MSC, and Princess all offering some form of all inclusive option. I think it’s great, all inclusive cruises are definitely the way forward. Do we think that P&O and Cunard will join in the fun?

I always say that P&O drinks are so reasonably priced they do not need to offer an all-inclusive package and somehow I cannot see Cunard opting for the all-inclusive option, somehow it’s just not their style.
