What have I been doing this Summer???????…………..

In between booking all your cruises this Summer, many of my customers have been asking where I am going and what I’ve been up to. So here it is……………

I managed to get away on the Carnival Horizon and Independence of the Seas earlier in the year and as soon as the good weather hit us I have been out hitting the festivals in the UK. Last month I headed over to the Isle of Wight Festival with my friend Anna Perrott. We drove over in Clara the camper van and experienced this festival like never before, in true luxury with running water, cold refrigerated beer and selected cheeseboard on tap. The festival was great, we saw some fantastic bands again this year including Feeder, The Killers, Cheryl Crow, The Script, it’s safe to say we had a blast.

Last weekend I headed over to Upton-On-Severn only 45 minutes away to the Upton Blues festival which we go to every year without fail. My two oldest school friends joined me this year, as we have all turned or turning 40 in the next few months it was great to all spend time together reminiscing about the days of our youth, our first cheeky illegal pint of Cider bought on a Friday night in our home town at the age of 15 and smile at how our lives have changed over the last few years with Marriages and children. This festival again was excellent, if you are a Blues fan or just a music lover like myself you should definitely take a look at this next year.

August Bank Holiday we are heading back to Upton for the Sunshine Festival with all my family in tow which will be fantastic, even my Brother is going to brave drinking beer in a field watching great bands, can’t wait for that one. So till the next time keep having fun in the Sun and enjoying our British Summer Time, haven’t we had a great one this year.
