P&O Get in with the times

P&O has announced that they will be trailing a new All-Inclusive drinks package out on the Azura at the end of July on this ship only, the All-inclusive drinks package will cost you £39.95 per person per night, This new drinks package can only be booked once onboard and has to be added on before midnight on the second day of your cruise.

If your travelling with children under the age of 16 then your children’s soft drinks package will come free if you buy the Ultimate drinks package yourself, which will save you £7.95 per child per day. with the ultimate drinks package, you can have any drink to the value of £6.95 per drink if you wanted a drink that was over this price you would have to pay for this in full but you would get a discount of 20% off this drink. The other restrictions that p&o have put in place is that you are only allowed 15 acholic drinks in 24 hours.

Many people have been waiting for P&O to bring a drinks package out especially as more and more cruise lines offer these and sometimes even give these free when booking your cruise, so it’s about time that P&O have now brought one out, Now apart from Princess cruises who are the only other cruise lines to have restrictions on how many drinks you can have. No other cruise lines have this, which I think is really good as one day you might be in port and off the ship all day and only have a few drinks in the evening but then the next day you might be at sea and through the day you could go over your 15 drinks. I believe in some ways there treating us like children telling us how many drinks you’re allowed.

I’ve been reading many reviews on this and many people are really liking the idea but for some people, they’ve said that they will now stop sailing with P&O as they only went with them due to them not having a drinks package (due to the clientele that you get when drinks packages are included).
