Now Cuba is dropped

Every year we have to deal with different things and this year is no different so far and I’m really hoping that nothing else is going to happen this year.

My year in the cruise business started with Royal Caribbean cancelling sailings and changing itineraries. Like I’ve said in previous blogs this is horrible for the customer especially when they’ve had there cruise/holidays booked for so long. they had these big plans studied for ages all the itineraries dates and then when you finally chose the right one for you months or even a year the cruise line cancels the sailing it’s so disappointing

Now  Donald Trump has decided that he doesn’t want America cruise lines going to Cuba from the states, why would he make a decision like this?

This is what I’ve read Cuba continues to play a destabilizing role in the Western Hemisphere, providing a communist foothold in the region and propping up U.S. adversaries in places like Venezuela and Nicaragua by fomenting instability, undermining the rule of law, and suppressing democratic processes,” Munchin said in his statement. He continues: “This Administration has made a strategic decision to reverse the loosening of sanctions and other restrictions on the Cuban regime. These actions will help to keep U.S. dollars out of the hands of the Cuban military, intelligence, and security services.”

What do you think? have you had your holiday affected by Donald Trump? let me know your thoughts.
