When thinking about Saga cruises, I always think over 50, old fashioned, traditional.
I am right with a couple of these points. Aimed at the over 50 who love a smaller more boutique style ship with a British feel and traditions.
The brand new ship has just completed its maiden voyage with over 50% of the passengers being repeat guests of Saga cruises.
The staff must have been feeling the pressure!
The ship is a lovely size, just under 1000 passengers and all cabins have a balcony!
109 cabins are exclusive to single passengers which again is fabulous news.
The cabins are an excellent size, 215 square feet is bigger than average and all the home comforts you would expect from a luxury hotel room. Fridge, walk-in wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities (a must for the Brits) multiple sockets and USB ports and plenty of storage
The dining on this new ship sounds fantastic. There are 3 speciality restaurants
Coast to Coast is an intimate seafood restaurant
Here is a sample menu of the main courses.
Think I would go traditional with fish and chips!
