Disney Magic – VIP style

How lucky was I to experience the Disney Magic in sunny Liverpool last month!

The ship is magnificent and looked lovely docked in Liverpool with goofy attempting to paint whilst hanging over the front of the ship ha! Great touch!

I must say when you think of Disney – you imagine Mickey and Minnie mouse with all their funny friends and a big load of fun going on for the children and adults alike.

Well, it was very different from what I was expecting! We did meet Mickey mouse as a special treat but the characters come out only at designated times and areas on the ship.

The rest of the times it was just like being on any other cruise line.

The current cruise was around the British Isles and Ireland and I was surprised to learn that the ratio of adults to children was very high! The adults obviously love the Disney experience too.

There is so much to do for adults. At the back of the ship, there is an adult-only spa area with an outdoor pool area and snack/ bar! It’s lovely to enjoy a bit of quiet while the crazy kids’ pool area is just moments away.

The restaurants were magical! Each had a Disney theme again not too much and very tasteful

My favourite was animation palate

The animation is taken to another level with the talking fish in the windows.

I also love the Tangled restaurant

There is a lot included with your Disney cruise – all the restaurants are on a rotational basis so you never miss out on any of the experiences. All soft drinks are also included and there are stations around the ship to help yourself. Ice cream – again you can just help yourself and it is delish!
