No more babysitting services on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line

Royal Caribbean have announced that they will no longer be offering in room babysitting from the end of this month.
This came as a big surprise to me as they are currently classed as the best family cruise line. Their reason for this is because it is so popular and difficult to manage due to the popularity.
I would think if something is proving so popular it makes more sense to keep it going as it is a service people are obviously looking for. It comes at an extra cost so I am sure that with better management they could make it work.
They will still be offering their usual kids clubs and also a late night party zone which is group babysitting for children age 3-11. Not all children are comfortable in groups though and for some parents it is a problem keeping their children up so late when they could have them tucked up in bed at a reasonable time with the private babysitting service.
A good nights sleep usually means a happy child the next day !!
Mine has always stayed up with us on our cruise holidays so it doesn’t affect us but I can see for some it wouldn’t be a popular move.
What do you think ?
