It’s Back

Just in time for the New Year, ITV’s The Cruise will be back on our TV screens next month.

That’s right series 6 of The Cruise will air on ITV from the 03rd January on a weekly basis. So for this series, the 6 part documentary was filmed on the 3560-passenger Majestic Princess during her sailings to Asia, Australia and New Zealand. For me it’s worth tuning in just for any glimpse of these ports.

Viewers can expect to to be introduced to a few new faces which include Captain Dino Sagani who has worked for the line for 25 years, in the series. He was first appointed in 2007 and has served on many of the Princess fleet since then.

Actor Anthony Head, who appeared in The Iron Lady and TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer, will provide the voice over.

Newcastle-born hotel services engineer, Scott Grayson, will feature again as he prepares to be come a father to a newborn baby.

Princess Cruises’ Vice President UK and Europe, Tony Roberts, had this to say: “We’re delighted that Princess Cruises will once again feature in The Cruise series on ITV, which offers viewers a wonderful glimpse into the wealth of experiences for our guests both on board and ashore, and the daily loves of our dedicated crew.

“We can’t wait for our series to transport viewers to exotic Asia and the stunning landmark locations of Australia and New Zealand on Majestic Princess.”

Do you watch The Cruise? what are your thoughts on the documentary?
