Guess who’s back

It doesn’t seem two minutes ago i was last writing about this. Yes that’s right she is back ladies and gents ‘Cruising with Jane McDonald’ is due to return to the screens tonight 19th April.

Due to air at 9pm on Channel 5, series 6 brings us 3 brand-new episodes.

Episode one will see the cruise icon sailing with Emerald Waterways on the Douro in Portugal as she experiences the line’s 112-passenger Emerald Radiance. This episode will show us the highlights of the Douro from Porto to Salamanca. Jane will be visiting Porto’s famous port cellars and also Casa De Mateus (Mateus Palace) in Vila Real, before trying tile painting and taking a train to Lisbon to experience a factory making Pastel De Nata. Which i hear is some kind of traditional Portuguese custard tart.

Emerald Waterways’ head of marketing UK & global brand curator David Winterton had this to say “It’s great that Channel 5 and Jane have chosen Emerald Waterways for this latest show. We were delighted to host Jane and the team. Everyone loved having her on board and we are looking forward to sharing her cruise with the nation.”

And we have a double episode to look forward to as Jane boards Uniworld’s 56 passenger Ganges Voyager II down the Ganges in India. I bet these will be really interesting episodes.

We last saw Jane back in February where she returned to Celestyal Cruises on board the Celestyal Crystal in Greece. and she also managed a circumnavigation of australia on board the Sun Princess.

No doubt i’ll have to catch up with some of these episodes when i return from honeymooning in China.

I must admit though i do tend to turn it off when she starts singing at the end. Does anyone else do this? I’d like to know i’m not the only one.
