Fancy a Festival without a Tent?

I don’t know about you but as much as I enjoy a wide, weird and varied type of music, the idea of setting up a tent and braving the elements to do it just leaves me standing.  So, when I saw Music Festivals at Sea not only was I intrigued, I was also a bit excited, not that I expected Justin Timberlake or the like but knowing that I can sing along, have a bit of a boogie and still have cruise comforts would suit me down to the ground, not least of all my own bathroom!

Royal Caribbean have a couple on offer, the Explorer of the Seas on 14th October has Alfie Boe, Sheridan Smith, Collabro and much more to entertain you as well as a trip to Dublin, it was from around £579 – 4 night cruise with all that going on – sounds ideal.

There is an 80’s Festival on 11th October this year for 3 nights, UB40, Tony Hadley and next year will see a cruise with the opportunity of ‘An Audience With’Jane McDonald’ on a 7 night Anthem of the Seas sailing in September.  She’s done well for herself hasn’t she?, just about everyone that cruises knows who she is and now you can be on board with her.

If you have been on a cruise and thought that the entertainment was a bit lacking, this is a great way to sail and see some big names, the fares are really good and are sure to be snapped up.  Early days but they are proving popular maybe we will see a few more dates, who would you like to see on board?  I think the 3 and 4 night ones are a great little break to take and when if time allows I will more than likely be heading out on one of these.

Not reliant on the weather and cruising in comfort too, a great idea or not your cup of tea?  Give me a call if you think it’s for you……
