Day 4

Today, you'll see and stroll along the world-famous Great Wall, as part of a guided tour. You'll learn, from your tour guide, about the wall's unique history, and have free time to explore this lengthy masterpiece at your own pace. Afterwards, you'll stop off at a Jade Factory and the exquisite Summer Palace, the former holiday retreat of Qing emperors.

Day 5

It's time to bid farewell to Beijing and say hello to Pingyao! After checking out of your Beijing hotel, you'll board the bullet train to Pingyao and check into your 4* hotel for a 1-night stay. In Pingyao, you'll head out on a guided tour of the city, visiting local landmarks such as the Yamen and Rishengchang Financial House Museum.

Day 8

This morning, you'll check out of your Xian hotel, board the bullet train to Chengdu and check into your hotel in the city for a 1-night stay. In the evening, you'll sample super tasty Sichuan hot pot and enjoy an accompanying show,

Day 9

It's time to meet some Giant Pandas! You'll spend the morning at the Chengdu Panda Research Base learning about these adorable bears, and then transfer to Chongqing to board your 3-night Yangtze river cruise.

Day 10

As part of your indulgent Yangtze river cruise, you'll visit the Jade Emperor Scenic Area - home to the largest image of the Jade Emperor in the world.

Day 13

It's time to board your cruise! You'll check out of your hotel and head to the cruise port to board Noordam for a 14-night cruise.

Days 14 - 15

Spend the first few days onboard Noordam at sea, enjoying all the excellent tantalising cuisine and toe-tapping music venues this classy ship has to offer - such as the Rolling Stone Lounge!

Day 18

Manila, the capital of the Philippines, is a city of contrasts. With its awesome skyscrapers, Spanish-era architecture, and sprawling markets, Manila offers a fascinating mix of old and new.

Day 19

Relax with a day at sea onboard Noordam! You can unwind with an afternoon by the pool, followed by a delicious dinner at the excellent onboard steakhouse, Pinnacle Grill!

Day 20

Taiwan's second-largest city Kaohsiung is a bustling port town with a rich cultural heritage and a modern, cosmopolitan vibe. Visitors can explore stunning temples and soak up the city's vibrant energy.

Day 23

Immerse yourself in the vibrant city of Naha, located on the tropical island of Okinawa, Japan. Explore the historical treasures of Shuri Castle, indulge in delicious local cuisine like Okinawa soba, and stroll through the bustling markets of Kokusai Street.

Day 24

Indulge in another sea day on Noordam. Perhaps spend the day at the spa, or indulge in some retail therapy at onboard shops.

Day 25

Osaka, home to a thriving food scene, effortlessly blends modernity with tradition. Discover the city's famous local specialities, such as okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, and explore the historic landmarks, such as Osaka Castle and the Umeda Sky Building.
