Yes. While the outbound journey is a flight-free experience sailing from Southampton across the Atlantic and around the Caribbean, the return journey after your 8-day land tour will be an overnight flight back to the UK. This flight is included in the price of the package.
As you are visiting the United States, you will need to obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) prior to travel. Your passport should also be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date.
The tour involves a moderate amount of walking, particularly during visits to Graceland, the French Quarter in New Orleans, and various museums. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended for the land-based portion of your holiday.
While your time onboard the ship is full board, the land tour typically includes breakfast at your hotels and specific feature dinners, such as the Mississippi Jazz Cruise & Dinner. Other lunches and dinners are at your leisure, giving you the freedom to explore the local food scenes in Nashville, Memphis, and New Orleans.
Yes, all transfers between the port, your hotels, and the scheduled tour stops are included, often using our exclusive coaches to ensure a seamless experience.
The ship operates in US Dollars (USD), and you will also need USD for your time in the Caribbean and the Deep South. We recommend carrying some small denomination notes for tipping guides and drivers during the land tour.
This trip covers a lot of ground. You will need light, breathable summer wear for the Caribbean and warmer days in the South, but we also recommend layers and a light jacket for the Atlantic crossing and air-conditioned venues.
